Safety Power Covers are not only “safe” but they offer the following environmental benefits:
 
Because an automatic safety cover is so easy to use, your pool can always be covered when it’s not in use. That means you save big money on heating, electricity, water and pool chemicals. In fact, your cover can completely pay for itself over its lifetime.

Water Conservation - water is a precious resource. Due to climate change, water is becoming more of an issue in many parts of the world. Because an automatic cover is on the pool most of the time, you will save up to 30 - 50% of the make-up water used by a typical pool without a cover.

Use less chemical – a pool cover system can help save up to 35 - 60% of the pool chemicals you would use if the pool was uncovered. The energy saved in producing, packaging and transporting them is a real benefit to the environment. When pool water evaporates, it takes heat with it. Because a cover system prevents most evaporation, heating requirements are much less and as much as 70% of heat loss due to evaporation can be saved by a cover.

Variable Speed Pumps

 
Programmable variable speed pumps can save as much as 90% on electricity costs versus traditional pool pumps. Their motor components use new technology that is more efficient than traditional components. Programming speed and time allows the end user to control exactly how much flow is needed to maintain water quality. The new motor design leads to quieter operation, longer life and less maintenance compared to traditional pool pumps. As an added feature many of these pumps also come with Safety Vacuum Release System to prevent anti-entrapment.

Use up to 86% less energy than traditional incandescent and halogen lights. LED lights are cool running, more durable and can last longer.
